Go Green!

It's Shameless Commerce Tuesday, and today I'm urging you to go green!

I have some newly listed sets of eco-friendly reusable cloth napkins in my Etsy shop, Pasque Flower Creations, with more on the way.  Whether you're looking for everyday napkins, organic cotton napkins, or hand-dyed and handwoven Guatemalan napkins, you can find them in the Kitschy Kitchen Stuff section of my shop:  http://www.etsy.com/shop/pasqueflower?section_id=10144150.

If you use paper napkins, think about how many each member of your household uses in a year.  My best guess is almost 1000 --  (3 meals per day x 365 days) minus meals out.  A cloth napkin will pay for itself in less than six months.  But you'll not only be saving money, you'll be saving TREES!  (Nebraska is the home of Arbor Day, you know.  Had to put in a plug for the trees.)

Bon appetit!

TTFN

  1. I love using cloth . . . cloth napkins, cloth diapers, cloth dish towels for everything. I applaud your green effort :-)

  2. I use towels. It drives my mom nuts because she says it means more laundry.

  4. I use cloth napkins when we have friends over for dinner, but even clean, they are grease-stained. I love your top set, though - really pretty! And the packaging - that makes it look so professional.

  6. That's so true! I made a set a while back and we used them a lot at first. Then, when they got caught up in the laundry, I just sort of forgot about them. You remind me that I need to make more, keep them in a stack ON THE TABLE, and use them!!!

  7. You have brought up some great points and have given me something to think about. Real cloth is much more absorbent too.

  12. An air ducts system is crucial for building any house or office. These systems are responsible for distributing fresh and clean air throughout the space. However, these systems may get clogged up due to different factors like dust particles, pet hair, or debris that come in from the outside. The Denver air duct cleaning present the best and quality work.
