Treasury Thanks

Each week I devote my Sunday blog post to extend a huge THANK YOU to the curators of Etsy treasuries who have featured items from my Etsy shops, Pasque Flower Creations and Aunt Pheba's Vintage, over the past week.

I saw lots of pink and aqua this week -- and a lovely eclectic mix of treasury themes. Grab a cup of your favorite beverage and sit back and enjoy some eye candy, as I give you a peek into the shops of this week's Etsy curators.

Claude Freaner of ClaudesWoodcarving featured my aqua triangles key fob in his treasury, Aqua Blue Is the Color for You - A TEMPT Team Motivation Treasury .  I love this miniature hand-carved robin  -- 2 inches (5 cm) from head to tail!  I've seen several real live robins this week - a sure sign that Spring is here to stay.

Valerie of NandysNook featured my pastel poppies oven mitt in her treasury, Pastel Treasures.  These pastel pink flower coasters would be a Mother's Day treasure for a special mom, grandma, or auntie.

Barbara Gross of benjaminajewelry featured my pastel pink floral oven mitt in her treasury, The Pink Piglet ...  Barbara's jewelry designs are truly unique, with a distinctly modern vibe and bold colors.  I also love that she uses lightweight aluminum for her colorful earrings.  These geometric aluminum dangle earrings are a sample -- love the aqua!

Heidi Marschall of HeidemarieMDesign featured my blue and violet baking motif oven mitt in her treasury, It's a Great Monday Morning ! 4/6  I love this blue opal ring from Heidi's shop.

Susan McAnany of McAnany featured my aqua chevron oven mitt in her treasury, Aqua Monday.  Just a few steps from aqua on the color wheel, you'll find another one of my favorite colors - teal.
I love this art photo from Susan's shop - Shuttered.

Nole of LoopyChicCrochet featured my azalea oven mitt in her treasury, TEMPT Team Love Motivation .  Any baby showers on your calendar?  If so, check out these too, too cute newborn hats from LoopyChicCrochet!

Katerina Fox of KaterinaFoxBags also featured my azalea oven mitt in her treasury, Spring .  Such a bright and colorful treasury!  Katerina designs and crafts the Coolest. Bags. Ever.  This beautiful leather shoulder bag in trendy turquoise would be a great Mother's Day gift -- or a colorful addition to your Spring accessories collection.

Semi Vintage from semivint featured my aqua chevron oven mitt in her SO pretty treasury of pinks and aquas, Think Pink .  This vintage turquoise bracelet is a timeless treasure that's also seasonally trendy.  (Love the photo, too!)

Jared Solko of BrandNewToMe featured my multicolored chevron oven mitt in the treasury, Spring Fling.   If you have a dog lover on your gift list, check out this leash and treat holder from Jared's shop.

Laura P. of Calliphorabeads featured my pink floral oven mitt in her treasury, Romantic Spring.  These lovely coral earrings would look great with a summery sundress!

Duni of PeriDotByDuni featured my gray and yellow uptown oven mitt in her treasury, April.  The grays and yellows evoke April showers and sunshine.  These pretty shabby chic tea towels from Duni's shop would be a lovely Mother's Day gift or wedding shower gift.  So pretty!!

Mike Kraus of MikeKrausArt featured my fabric-covered travel journal in his treasury, Wonderful Wednesday.  Mike's artwork has a distinctive style - bold, modern, and colorful, but with ties to Nature.  This Twilight Woods acrylic painting is one of the newer additions to Mike's shop.

Laura featured my aqua chevron baby bib in her treasury, A Nice Day ...  Even though the predominant color theme this week seems to be aqua and pink, I couldn't resist featuring these fantastic chainmaille earrings in purple.  Aren't they gorgeous!

Susan McAnany of McAnany featured my turquoise key fob in her treasury, Turquoise Spring.  You may have seen this before, but some things bear repeating, and I just LOVE this seaside abstract art photography.   You can also find Susan's incredible art photos on her website

Mike Kraus of MikeKrausArt featured my red and white chevron oven mitt in his treasury, You Can't Resist.  He's right.  I couldn't resist sharing another one of Mike's acrylic paintings from his Twilight Woods series.   This one reminds me of my son Tim (almost 39).  When he was 2 or 3, we were driving past a row of apple trees in full bloom in Pierre, South Dakota (the centrally isolated capital, deliberately mispronounced as "peer"), and he said, "Look, Mom! PINK trees!!!"

Neta Gov of netagovdigitalart featured my red floral oven mitt in her treasury, G&R.  This printable wall art décor made me think to myself, "free as a bird."

Susan McAnany of McAnany was on a treasury roll this week.  She featured my purple and gold tiger key fob in her treasury, Purple Blast Off.  This Timbuktoo photo made me smile.  I always thought it was an imaginary isolated and far-off-the-beaten-path place.   But I don't even see a path in this photo.

Laura P. of Calliphorabeads featured my violet and blue baking motif oven mitt in her treasury, Freshness.   This peacock blue snake bracelet is one of the stunning pieces of handcrafted jewelry you will find in Laura's shop.

And last, but certainly not least, Heidi Marschall of HeidemarieMDesign featured my crocus oven mitt in her treasury, Very Berry! For My Etsy Friends .  This turquoise stretch bracelet could easily become a favorite go-to summer accessory -- fresh as a turquoise daisy.

And there you have it!  Another great week for treasuries.  If you see an item you like, please Like, Pin or Share.

It's been a busy and eventful week for me.  We broke ground for a $4.5 million addition to the UNL Law College that will house all the clinical law programs, including the Entrepreneurship Legal Clinic, where I work as a legal assistant, beginning in late Summer or early Fall of 2016 (if all goes as planned).

And many procrastinators finally found their way to the tax office in an attempt to beat the April 15 filing deadline here in the US, so it's been a busy week at the tax office (my other day job) as well.

Extensions for time to file are available -- but there are no automatic extensions for payment of taxes due.  Four more shifts until the end of tax season!  Yay!!
