End of Tax Season Survival Kit

It’s crunch time at the tax office.  As soon as the calendar flips to April, procrastinators come out of hiding and head to the tax office with varying degrees of apprehension. 

Stress is high. Time is short.

But I’m ready!  Thanks to my thoughtful hubby who surprised me with a 4-pound can of peanut butter!  I know, peanut butter is not exactly a health food, but it does satisfy my craving for protein, salt, and sweet, all in one smooth and tasty spoonful.   It is my “go to” comfort food during tax season. 

So here’s my end of tax season survival kit (not tax deductible): 

Peanut Butter
Large Spoon
Diet Coke

I’ll eat healthier foods after tax season.  Pinky swear.

  1. HA! I had to laugh when I saw this. Hang in there, kitty! April 16th is right around the corner. :)

  2. Thank goodness I'm all done with mine! Stress levels were high, as usual - retail therapy helps ;-)

  3. I eat so much peanut butter, but I justify it by eating natural peanut butter which is only peanuts. :)

  4. hahaha I totally had a spoonful of Hazelnut cocoa butter last night... Probably worse for me but so delicious!

  5. I could eat Stouffers French Bread Pizza everyday and never get tired of it. Maybe that is why I have gained weight. So switching by eating Lean Cuisine Sesame Stir Fry Chicken. But still have to have the pizza a couple of times a week.

  6. Love the surprise 4 pounds of peanut butter! But no chocolate? :) Good luck surviving the worst part of tax season!
