    I like the fabric roses, and I might be able to actually keep these from dying. I am down to one houseplant, green thumb is one thing I do not have

    I can relate, sanmarnastyle! My brother once observed all of my house plants are candidates for last rites :-). Perhaps that's why the fabric roses appealed to me, too! (That --and I love all things fabric, of course!)
