Not in my yard, but I walk by it every day. An orchard was bulldozed to create our subdivision many, many years ago. Very sad. I like to think maybe this is one that survived.
Are you able to take some? That would be a dream come true for me! Back when the kids were younger I worked part time at an apple orchard. I got so many great recipes while I was there. I just love apple season because I turn into Betty Crocker! Apples are my favorite things to bake with.
I can't take these, but I hope to make it to the Apple Jack Festival in Nebraska City in September. They have many orchards there. Edi vends at one of the craft fairs held in conjunction with the festival. Maybe I can meet her in person!
Oh wow! Is that in your yard?

Deletepretty photo! I love the shades of green.
ReplyDeleteLOL to your reply above. Maybe add an apple to carrot juice.
There you go. Apples are my juice sweeteners.
DeleteI love apples! I miss them - they aren't really grown in Hawaii. Good thing I'll be back in SC for apple season!
ReplyDeleteYou get the best of both --pineapples in Hawaii and apples in SC.
