Each week I like to extend a huge THANK YOU to the curators who have featured items from my Etsy shops, Pasque Flower Creations and Aunt Pheba's Vintage during the past week.
Pamela Bates of BatesMercantileCo featured my vintage 75th Anniversary Fenton pitcher in her treasury, It Will Get Better, This Grow Love print from Pam's shop is an inspiring image full of hope and encouragement.
Edi Royer of memoriesforlifesb featured my Fall leaves oven mitts in her pretty Fall treasury, The Colors of Fall. These handmade wood stacking rings, new in Edi's shop, would be a fun accessory for Fall.
Sarah Beth of MagnoliaSurprise also featured my Fall leaves oven mitts in her treasury, Hooray for Fall. These pretty crocheted pumpkin coasters would be a fun way to brighten up your day on a chilly Fall morning.
Desiree Meany of DesDoesVintage featured my grandmother's cameo brooch from my vintage shop, Aunt Pheba's Vintage, in her treasury, Golden Age Debut. My grandmother (the real Aunt Pheba) loved pretty things. These lovely Myott Staffordshire dishes would have warranted a special spot in her china closet.
Thanks, again!
Enjoy what's left of the weekend. It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood here in sunny Nebraska.

Saturday Slim Down Report - Minus Two Bowling Balls
It's Day 82 of the Nature's Sunshine 90-Day Slim Down Challenge, and I am happy to report that I lost 2.4 pounds this week for a total loss of 31.0 pounds -- that's TWO bowling balls! Good riddance to that extra baggage!
I am on the home stretch now with the Slim Down Challenge - only 8 more days to go. But I will continue my weight loss efforts after the challenge until I reach a healthy weight.
Have a wonderful weekend!

Saturday Slim Down Report
It's Day 75 of the 90-Day Nature's Sunshine Slim-Down Challenge. Over the past week I lost 1.2 pounds for a total loss of 28.6 pounds -- almost two bowling balls.
In the final 15 days, I hope to step up my exercise efforts and drink more green juice (gag!!) with the hope of losing 30 pounds or more at the end of the 90-day challenge.
My cousin Jeannie, who has been with Nature's Sunshine for many years, has been my patient coach through this ordeal. She keeps asking if I have adjusted to a "new normal." Uhh--sorry, but NO! I like my walks, but there are days when I REALLY crave a cheeseburger, or nachos, or ice cream. I hate green juice, and I'm not convinced the juice without fiber is the way to go long-term. And the vitamin A in all those dark green veggies I am juicing is fat soluble---so the body can't utilize most of those nutrients unless there is some fat in the diet.
I do intend to stay on a diet after the 90 days. I will occasionally drink green juice, and I will use Nature's Sunshine powdered high protein meal replacements as an on-the-go meal to keep me from grabbing fast food. I will definitely use the Stixated fruit-flavored drink powder as an appetite suppressant between meals. I will stay off the Diet Coke, and avoid fast food and processed carbohydrates and strictly limit sugar intake. I'll eat high protein Greek yogurt instead of the cheaper sweetened kind. But I will allow myself to eat fish and salads and fruit as "real food" sources of protein and vitamins along with an occasional slice of whole grain bread or pasta...but not for another 15 days!

Pouring Over A Pretty Pitcher
It's Shameless Commerce Tuesday, and today I'm featuring a pretty Fenton 75th Anniversary Hand Painted Pitcher, available in my vintage Etsy shop, Aunt Pheba's Vintage.
This beautiful hand painted spruce green pitcher was created especially for the Fenton Art Glass Company's 75th Anniversary in 1980. This exquisite piece has beautifully painted floral designs, autographed by the painter, Linda Enerson. (I am not sure of the last name, but I am not in a position to criticize anyone for their signature!)
The base depicts the 75th Anniversary logo, and is signed by Bill Fenton. The original sticker with the Fenton logo is attached near the unique swirled glass handle.
This piece stands approximately 6.75 inches high.
Fenton Art Glass went on to celebrate its 100th anniversary in 2005. Fourth-generation Fenton family members worked with skilled glassworkers and decorators to create beautiful, handmade art glass in Williamstown, West Virginia. Sadly, the company ceased traditional glassmaking in 2011, making this piece a true collector's item.
This pitcher would be a lovely accent for shabby chic or cottage chic home décor, or to used as a vase to hold fresh flowers.

(I apologize for the image overlap for the first treasury I'm not clever enough to fix that one without some coaching, I'm afraid.)
Enjoy!
